Kallister's Blessing

I don't know where to start with this one.  I love, love, love my niece Kallister, I just can't get enough of holding and loving on her.  Which is the pits cause I rarely get to see her because of the distance we live away from everyone.  She is so special and has a beautiful soul and a personality like her Mother, believe me you can already tell.
We try not to travel too may weekends in a row because it is hard on Emerson, plus very expensive to travel.  But we couldn't miss out on this amazing opportunity to witness and, for John to take part in the blessing of this blessed child from out Heavenly Father.  So we made the long trip to Mesquite with a stop over for the night in St. George.  It was all worth it. It has been amazing to a testimony builder to see the change and love in my Sister in the last two years after all the hardships that she went through. It was so inspiring and spiritual to be able to witness her Husband Cade as he gave her a name, Kallister Michon Ruth, and a blessing through the power of the priesthood to help guide her in her life.
So Beautiful!

The Happy Family

Cade's very talented sister made this beautiful blessing dress to look like Ashely's wedding dress.  She did a wonderful job.

Emerson loves his cousin

Baylee is our little Mother Hen, she has a way with the babies.  If I could I would have her with me all the time because Emerson just loves her.

This next series of pictures are my absolute favorites.  I got way too many shots and just couldn't choose between them so I shared a lot.  Grandpa and his Grandchildren is definetly a very special bond.

Love that she has a hold of his tie like she is saying, "Grandpa don't go."

The Cameron Family

Emerson's 1st Birthday!!!

Once again I cannot convey how very thankful we are for this wonderful little miracle in our lives.  We are truly blessed by our Heavenly Father to send us one of his children to nurture and raise.  Hopefully we don't mess up too bad.  He may get on our nerves often but one thing for sure is that all he has to do is smile and it all goes away.
We decided to have Emerson's party at my Sister's home in Caliente: 1) then only we would have to travel instead of 8 other families, 2) she has a big enough home to accomodate us all, and 3) we needed to stop in Cedar on our way so I could meet my great friend Aimee's new little baby girl.
We were having a hard time coming up with a theme so we went to the party store and walked around, Emerson kept reaching for the little foam basketballs so that became our theme with it being that time of year it worked out great.
When we first arrived I got to work on the smash cake, and dinner.  When my Mom gave me my birthday card since it is the day before Emerson's.  They had given me a gift certificate for a pedicure at the shop there in town for that night.  I was so happy my feet have been neglected for way to long.  My little sister was able to come with me and we had a fun time talking and catching up with each other as well as the lady that was doing my toes, who is a good friend of the family.
The next day on his birthday we had dinner with all of our family, opened presents, and ate cake and ice cream.  It was such a fun time with all of our family.
Checking out his new carseat the night before we left

Above and Below: Destruction within the first 10 minutes at Grandma's

Apparently he can go out but not come back in.

Playing with Bridger

Twins

Talon was so excited to give him his present.  It was a Car's outfit and he will look so good in it this summer.

Super Hero tent from Matt's Family

A Lightening McQueen Walker and Rider from Grandpa and Grandpa Cumming

A Wagon from Grandpa and Grandma Cameron

Aunt Ashley gave him $10, and a few weeks later we were at build a bear and he fell in love with this bear and it was on sale for $10. It was a St. Patrick's Day bear, but we are calling it a Celtic's bear.

This is the smash cake that I made for him.  Not to bad if I say so myself.

Didn't like it at first...

then Daddy helped out...

and Grandpa showed him that he was having cake too and finally...

what a mess!

Daxton enjoyed playing with some of the toys, it was nice to be able to share with him, instead of him always sharing with Emerson.

Nellie and Emerson getting a wagon ride

The next day after church we took the kids home a little early since they were getting cranky.  Daxton seems to always need to eat when Emerson does.  I think he is giving him the evil eye in this picture.

Oh well turned out good in the end, they enjoyed a nice lunch together.

We are the Invaders!

In past few weeks we have been doing a lot of traveling.  We went to Cedar and home to visit while John was sent to do some trainings in Cedar.  Then about two weeks later he was sent to St. George to do the same trainings.  We then had Emerson's Birthday party, and the following week my Sister and her Husband blessed their baby Kallister in Mesquite.  So with all the traveling and visiting we are very grateful for the family that put up with us coming and going and need a place to stay.
Most of all John's Sister Amanda and her Husband and family.  They are always so gracious to open their home to us, and let us stay with them and invade with all of our stuff, even when it is just for a place to sleep on our way to a blessing.  One thing is for sure though we always have such a wonderful time visiting and getting to spend time with family.
Emerson loves Daxton

I don't think Daxton liked being grabbed though.  We will be working on soft with Emerson

They play so well together

Daxton showing Emerson the ropes.  TROUBLE!

Emerson loved this toy and pushed it all over Amanda's house

So excited to visit with Uncle Karl, Aunt Jana, and Grady

The best picture we could get of them all together

My new little buddy

Emerson found a new friend.  He liked walking around with Uncle Jon

Uncle Andrew and they boys, he is one of their favorites

Not sure if Nellie was hiding or sleeping in this picture, but I don't think a toy box would be that comfortable.

Aunt Anna reading them all  a book. Still don't know how she fit those two huge boys on her lap with her pregnant belly.

We decided to give Amanda a break and took Daxton to Target with us.  Well he has taught Emerson some new things.  He got into the diaper bag all the way to the bottom and opened the snacks.  They then proceded to eat them all as we went through the store.

On our second trip down, Nellie was so excited to show us that she was going to attempt to ride her bike without training wheels so I have a few pictures of her first tries.

Emerson didn't like the grass

Jumping on Amanda's bed after bathtime.  They are going to be such trouble makers.

Amanda made popcorn and Emerson got to try it for the first time.  It is now his favorite treat.

He also likes to share with everyone by feeding it to them.

Once again they got into the snacks as we were packing to leave and accidently spilt them on the floor.  That didn't stop them from eating them though.

Goodbye until our next visit.  Thanks for letting us Invade once again.  You guys are great!
