Corn Maze and Pumpkin Carving

Corn Maze
The weekend before Halloween we took Emerson to the Corn Maze at Thanksgiving Point.  They had so much for him to look at and experience and he was excited.
This is one of the shirts Aunt Jana got him to help celebrate some of his firsts!

Just before we went in the Corn Maze. Looks thrilled doesnt' he?

Pumpkin Carving
Every year for Family Home Evening we sit down and have Chili and carve our pumpkin. This is a tradition we started in Cedar and used to do with a bunch of friends, but since it is just us up here we just did it as a family.  But this year was extra fun to watch Emerson check out what we were doing.  He was hilarious to watch.

He decided he wanted to try some of the insides but was having a hard time getting it in his mouth.

We were finally able to get a good family picture at the end of the week when we got to my parent's for Halloween.
