I have to admit that one of the best things about living up here in the Great White North, is being able to spend time with John's extended family. He has 2 Aunts and 3 Uncles along with all of their children and some of their children's children, that live from Spanish Fork up to Draper. So every once in awhile we all get together for some great gatherings. We have been able to attend Baptisms, Farewells, Homecomings, Birthdays, Christmas Parties, helping work on houses, and most recently Snow Day. While I am not a huge fan of the snow it is fun to get out for a day and sled and play in the snow.
The snow day was at his Uncle McKay's home up in the Hills there was about 12 inches and they had some great hills for sledding. Even though we just took Emerson down a little hill in his backyard, the older kids were going down a hill that was really long and steep. We had lunch and visited with everyone. It is so much fun to get to know everyone so much better.

Aunt Natalie's little girl decided she would make a track down the hill just by scooting on her bottom instead of using a sled. Didn't really make much of a track but it was fun watching her try. |

He really liked the snow. But then again maybe it was just because he was eating it and it reminded him of ice, which is one of his favorite treats. |

I made sure it wasn't yellow snow |

I had to take this picture. These are two of the younger cousins and they had stuck their faces in the snow and when they came in their little cheeks were so red. Too cute and funny! |
Great pics Lindsay. Emerson is so much fun to play with. So glad you all could come for the day.
